The second week of the summer split is over, but the analysis time has just begun! In this short article, we will take a closer look at the beefy monsters in the top-lane. Shyvana‘s dominance has increased significantly since last week, as the Half-Dragon now joins Jax in the elite 100% combined pick and rate club. She is still the most picked top-laner and considered to be the most suitable monster for the current meta. In second place, Jax is still the champion most top-laners love to hate and with a ban-rate of 75% he easily acquired the title of most banned top-lane champion this week while in third place, Trundle is doing his best to keep up, but is still a long way off with only 3 picks and no bans.
Shyvana’s win-rate has taken a beating, dropping from 80% last week to just a bit over 57% this week, which is barely enough to keep her in first place ahead of Jax with 50% and Trundle with 33%. Both Renekton and Dr. Mundo scored a win in the only game they played this week, reminding everyone that they are still an incredibly viable pick.
All things considered, this week’s top pick was without a doubt Shyvana for the second week in a row and here are the builds that the pros chose for the Half-dragon and their respective performance with the champion.
